Jane Rhodes

Jane Rhodes is a Bedfordshire artist whose work has been widely exhibited both in the UK and internationally. Her career has included several solo shows including a feature exhibition at the Visual Arts Centre in Hong Kong (2014), as well as showings at London’s Mall Galleries with the Pastel Society and the Society of Women Artists.

Known for her expressive pastel work, Jane brings energy and sensitivity to scenes inspired by her love of walking and the outdoors. Her sketchbooks, filled during countless journeys both at home and overseas, form the backbone of her creative process and continue to inspire much of her studio practice.

Commitment to experimentation keeps her practice fresh and, although highly regarded for her pastels, she continues to explore and enjoy the challenges of other media.
