Bedford Physical Activity Awards 2025

We are delighted to announce that we were the winners of the Community Club/ Group award!

The Bedford Physical Activity Awards, presented by Bedford Borough Council Sports Development Unit, recognise the varied achievements of individuals and groups performing in local sports, and reward the work that enables others to experience fulfilment in physical activity.

At the Bedford MS Therapy Centre, we support people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson’s to be active through strength, cardio and balance training along with group sessions including Qigong, Pilates and Boxercise, all overseen by neuro-physiotherapists.

Maintaining ohysical fitness can delay the progression of symptoms, and support people to remain in work and to live independently.

The award was collected by CEO Shirley Scotcher and Colin Dowding, our volunteer Qigong instructor.
