Melanie Hingorani

Melanie is a retired consultant surgeon living in Hertfordshire. She paints in watercolour, acrylic and water based oils, on canvas board and paper. Her greatest love is portraiture, aiming to capture the essence of the person, with a feeling they are just about to speak to you. She also paints animals, especially dogs, and landscapes, of the places she lives or visits.

She paints for the love of it rather than profit and, where possible, donates her works to friends, colleagues and good causes.
