Fundraising & Corporate Liaison Officer – Flexible, Rewarding, and Purpose-Driven Work
Location: Bedford MS Therapy Centre | Salary: £31,921 pro rata | Hours: 25–30 hours/week (Mon–Fri)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Do you enjoy connecting with others, building relationships, and bringing people together for a great cause?

The Bedford MS Therapy Centre is a much-loved local charity that supports people living with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions through therapy, exercise, and community connection. We’re looking for someone special to help us grow our impact—and that’s where you come in!

We’re on the lookout for a Fundraising and Corporate Liaison Officer—a self-starter who’s enthusiastic, organised, and loves building relationships with local businesses and the wider community. This role is all about creating connections and inspiring people to get involved and support our Centre.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is a varied and flexible role—perfect if you enjoy a mix of creativity, planning, and people-focused work.

Corporate & Community Engagement (50%)

  • Reach out to local businesses and community groups to build partnerships and secure support.

  • Represent the Centre at talks, networking events, and community meetings.

  • Support individual and group fundraising efforts—whether that’s a fun run, bake sale or team challenge.

Marketing & Social Media (15%)

  • Help spread the word about our events and activities via social media, newsletters, and our website.

Create engaging content that inspires and informs our community.

  • Support our amazing volunteer fundraisers with promotional materials and ideas.

Fundraising Events (35%)

  • Plan and run 3–4 key fundraising events each year—think fun, accessible and community-focused.

  • Coordinate collection days at local supermarkets, train stations and events.

  • Work alongside our service users and their families to encourage participation and support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with energy, positivity, and a proactive mindset.

  • Great communication skills—you’ll be chatting to businesses, community groups and the public.

  • Experience in fundraising and working with corporate partners or local organisations.

  • Comfortable managing projects, juggling tasks, and meeting realistic targets.

  • Social media savvy and happy presenting in front of a crowd when needed.

  • Able to work some evenings and weekends (occasionally!).

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • A truly rewarding role where you’ll see the impact of your work every day.

  • Flexible working hours and potential to work from home after your probation.

  • 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with extra days added for long service.

Pension scheme with 3% employer contribution.

  • Free parking and a supportive, close-knit team that values your input.

At the Bedford MS Therapy Centre, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. We value diversity and actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. Whether you have lived experience of a neurological condition, identify as part of a minority group, or bring a unique perspective to our team—we believe your voice matters. We are proud to be a place where everyone is treated with respect and has the opportunity to thrive.

This role is full of opportunity—it’s a new position that you’ll help shape. If you’re more event-focused or business-minded, we’re open to splitting the role into two part-time positions (Events Fundraiser and Corporate Liaison). Let’s talk!
