Bedford Accessible Taxi Survey

Bedford Taxi Survey

As part of their accessibility strategy for the taxi trade, Bedford Borough Council has commissioned TAS Partnership to undertake a survey of taxi users to better understand their experiences. The survey is aimed at individuals with a physical or sensory impairment (or those who otherwise require additional support) who have used taxis and private hire vehicles in Bedford, as well as organisations who provide services or support for such individuals.

 We are interested to hear:

 •             whether enough accessible vehicles are available when required

•             whether passengers feel safe and comfortable

•             whether driver attitudes and training standards are appropriate

•             any other suggestions to improve the experience of taxi passengers.

We would like to invite any individual or organisation to complete a short online survey here:

Alternatively, we are happy to receive any feedback by email here:

Or by telephone on 01772 204988 – please ask for Ian Robertson or John Atkins.
