Nicola is a self-taught artist based in the heart of Hertfordshire, working primarily in oils, with a deep-rooted passion for realism. She likes to bring her subjects to life through vibrant colours and meticulous attention to detail inspired by the old Dutch masters. She has a contemporary realistic still-life style with strong elements of photorealism and classical chiaroscuro.
